About Hearing First Audiology Clinic
Independent, personalised hearing care led by an experienced audiologist with a strong medical and clinical background.
Hearing First Audiology Clinic is an independent audiology clinic dedicated to providing accurate hearing assessments, personalised hearing solutions, and ongoing support for adults and children over five years of age.
Our approach is simple: we take time to understand your hearing, your lifestyle, and your communication needs before recommending any treatment or hearing technology. As an independent clinic, we work with major hearing aid brands and focus on finding the most suitable option for each individual patient.
Independent Hearing Care, Guided by Experience and Evidence
My approach to hearing care has been shaped by many years of clinical experience across medicine, hospital audiology, private practice, and community hearing care. Before becoming an audiologist in Australia, I worked as an ENT doctor overseas, where I developed a strong interest in ear health, hearing problems, and the impact hearing can have on a person’s daily life, confidence, communication, and wellbeing.
Over the years, I have seen that good hearing care is not simply about fitting hearing aids. It begins with careful listening, accurate assessment, clear explanation, and a genuine understanding of each patient’s needs. Two people may have similar hearing test results, but their lifestyles, communication goals, listening environments, expectations, and budgets can be very different. That is why I believe hearing care should always be personalised, practical, and patient-centred.
Hearing First Audiology Clinic was built on the belief that patients deserve independent advice. As an independent clinic, we are not limited to one hearing aid manufacturer or one technology pathway. This allows us to consider a wide range of major hearing aid brands and recommend solutions based on clinical findings, lifestyle needs, comfort, usability, and long-term value.
Independence also means being honest. Not every hearing difficulty requires hearing aids immediately. Some patients need monitoring, medical referral, communication strategies, tinnitus support, or simply a clear explanation of their results. When hearing aids are appropriate, the recommendation should be realistic and based on evidence, not sales pressure.
My philosophy is to provide hearing care that is careful, transparent, and evidence-based. This includes comprehensive hearing assessment, personalised recommendations, accurate hearing aid programming, real-ear verification where appropriate, and ongoing fine-tuning after fitting. A successful hearing aid result is not achieved in one appointment; it is a process of assessment, fitting, adjustment, counselling, and long-term support.
At Hearing First Audiology Clinic, we take time to understand the person behind the audiogram. Our goal is to help each patient make an informed decision with confidence, whether they are having their first hearing test, considering hearing aids, seeking a second opinion, or looking for better results from their current devices.
We believe hearing care should be independent, evidence-based, personalised, and genuinely focused on improving everyday communication and quality of life.
